Hugo C. Castro
The principal attorney of the firm is Hugo C. Castro. He was born in Peru and obtained the Attorney at Law degree from the University of Lima (Peru). He later obtained a Masters of Law degree (LL.M.) from the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. At the Washington College of Law he obtained a GPA of 3.55 out of 4.00. Mr. Castro was also granted a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree equivalency from the School of Law of George Mason University in Virginia.
Mr. Castro is an active member of the Virginia State Bar and is authorized to practice in the Virginia Supreme Court, state courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the U.S. District Court, Eastern Virginia District.
Mr. Castro is also authorized to practice Immigration and Nationality Law anywhere in the United States and U.S. Consulates abroad. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Lima Bar in Peru.
Mr. Castro has assisted and represented successfully many corporate and individual clients in their immigration needs and matters before the several federal agencies and courts involved in the adjudication and decision of immigration cases.
He wishes to continue using his experience and knowledge in the complicated and ever-changing world of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Laws to assist corporate clients to bring foreign workers and foreign nationals in their quest to obtain legal immigration status in order to temporarily or permanently reside and work in the United States.
Mr. Castro being himself an immigrant understands very well those needs and aspirations. That among other things sets him apart from many immigration lawyers.
